T6 administer the wills of il} persons, who by appointing the Public Trustee as :their executor secure the guarantee of the • $tate for.the due,fu!filment of their wishes and avoid the risk consequent on the apppjntment of private persons as executors, w ( bo not" unfrequently, though earnestly desirous of acting for the benefit of parties interested, fail to carry put legally the objects, for which they were appointed j. and consequently involve themselves and those whose interests they are striving to protect m costly ' and 'harassing litigation; , ' . ■ 3.
