GREAT MASS MEETING.
An open air mass meeting was held m Hyde Park to-day with reference to the state of affairs m Ireland. Mr Parnell, M.P. for Cork, was present and addressed the meeting, commenting upon the present condition of that country, and demanding that the Government should at once take steps to put a stop to the eviction of tenants from their holdings, m order to avert the serious consequences which would result if such a practice was permitted to continue.
