To administer the wills of all persons, who by appointing the Public Trustee! as t their executor, secure the guarantee of State for the due fulfilment of their wishes and avoid the risk consequent on (he appointment of private persons as executors, who mot uafrequently, though earnestly desirous of acting for the benefit of parties interested, fail to carry out legally the objects for which they were appointed, and consequently involve themselves and those whoie interests they are strivi ng to project- m costly and harassing litiga,'^on.,,.
