The forec.st of the Queen's speech, as previously telegrap ied, was confirmed by the speech as delivered. The speech, however, also states that the withdrawal of the British force from Egyptian territory is proceeding as fast as the dictates of prudence will admit. In reference to Ireland, the speech acknowledged that the machinations of seor t societies m the country demnid uuremittin^ euergy and vigilance on the part of the ExecutiveReference is also made to a proposed measu c providing for the compensation of tenants m England and Scotland for improvements made on leasehold lands. London, Febrmry 15.' A large, mcc nig of supporters of Brc dlaii^h was held iv Trafalgar Square to-day, with the intention of exorting him to the House of Cotnmons to claim his seat as a duly elected Member for Northampton. ' In the course of a'speech Bradlaunh, however, stated the announcement made by L »rd Hartington that a bill providing for affirmations m lieu of oaths was about to be introduced m the bouse of commons, averted the necessity of adopting that method of claiming his seat which he had proposed to employ & that he considered it advisable to take no fur hur action at the present time.
