CARUS WILSON V. BISHOP HADFIELD.
Referring to the case of the Ecv. E. Carus-Wilson Against His Lordship the Bishop of Wellington, we are requested to state' that the reports given m the New Zealand Times and Evening Post newspapers tnonijh perfectly correct »s to the main issue, viz., that the Bishop of Wellington was not responsible for the payment of the salary claimed by the plaintiff, both omit to state that the Resident Magistrate, wheu informing counsel for the defence that it would not be necessary to call his witnesses, plainly told the plaintiff that though his case failed against the Bishop on the grounds mentioned m the report, yet he -(the Resident Magistrate) desired further to add that the plaintiff, Mr Wilson, had not satisfied the Conrfc that he Itad a claim upon anyone for any tui'lher amount of salary.
