They are'to be addressed to the Hon the Minister for Public Works, Dunedin, i and marked, "Tender for Sleepers, Middle Island Railways," on outside j of envelope. Telegraphic Tenders, j similarly addressed and marked, will be received if pi'esented at any Telegraph Oflice by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders in clue form are lodged at a District or liesident Engineer's Office by the same hour. Specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill ; and at the Post Offices, Palmerston North, Ilavelock, Tapanui, and Ttiverton.
