Mossrs Tli'ynno, Linfcon & Co. report; : — At our saleyai'ds-at Foxton on Thursday there was a very good attendance of buyers, and tho stock yarded were oi 1 a very superior class, Mr Raven's 100 head of cattle sold well, the bidding being spirited, but •nevertheless purchasers m somo cases secured very good bargains. Weaners ranged from 39s to 40s ; heifers, m calf, £3 2s 6d ; 15 months to 2-yoar-old heifers, 50»s ; cows m calf, 57s 6d ; good quiet milch cows ranged from four to seven pounds ; cows with calves, 70s. All the cattle and sheep were sold. Mr Cobb's imported .Romney rams, four sold at prices ranging from 33 to 35 guineas ; mixed and bred ewes and wethers fetched 6s 6d ; fat wethers, lls 7d ;" fat ewes, 9s lid; store Lincoln ewes, 9s 9d.
