T)UBLIC NpTICE is hereby JT given that the Manchester Road Board proposes to construct the following roads, or part thereof within the "Manchester Road District under the provision of the Roads and Bridges Constrnction Act, 1882, relating to District Roads viz;— 1 Ashurst and Bunnythorpe, Whibley's Pohaugina Mangaone, Junction, Valley and Midland, "Wilsons, Ulysses, Jones, Makara, Bunnythorpe, Spur and Taonui Roads. The estimated cost thereof is £22,594 2s 6d. 2 The amount of payment required on the above is £2033 9s 2d annually for 15 years, and the amount of special rate required to meet this is one and two fifths of a penny m the pound on the rate" able value of property within the Manchester Road Board District. 3 The plans, specifications and detailed estimates of the cost of the proposed works way be seen at the office of the Manchester Koad Board during the ordinary business hours. 4 The poll for or against the above special rate will be taken on Wednesday, the 25th day of April, 1883, at the Road Board office, Peilding, Rusße'il's Board* ing house, Ashurst, and the Corporation office, Halcombe.
