Fire At Kiwitea.
We reg-refc to learn that Mr Gt. S. Hadfield received another stroke of ilHuck on Sunday, throngh hia house at Kiwitea. being totally destroyed by fire. Mr Hadffeld had anunged to." l'emovo his wife and family there to~day, and on Sunday had lit a fire- m the house m order to air it. >fter doing this he, pw> ceeded over the hill to a neighbor's, where he remained for a short whi;le v and on g«ing back was astounded to find the whole place reduced to ashes. The only reason he can ass. sign for the . misfortune is that the chimney mnst have been a defective one. Luckily for him his furniture had not been placed m the building, but was to have been conveyed there this morning. The building; which formerly belonged- to Mr T. L. Har* court, was insured for £300 m the Royal.
