Per Press Association. Wellington, This.day. The lonic, Captain E.O. Hallett,, R.Tf.,' arrived in J harbor, shortly a¥€er midnight, having made, the passage m ,43 days 22 hours from Plymouth, inclusive of 1$ hours' detention at Teneriffe for coalingpurposes, the actual period under way being, 43 days 6 hours. Fine weather with moderate, winds was 1 experienced throughout the voyage, and no occurrence of special interest ' took .place. The ship has arrived m I beautifully ,cleaujorder. In addition to~the Government immigrants, she has^a considerable number of salootf passengers, all well. There are six. of the regular employes of the N\Z. Shipping Company ' serving aa officers on board, Captain Bone, )ase of the ' Bakaia, being second officer.
