Port Chalmers. 5 p.m. : " Unusual tide movement |: here from 11.3Qja.m. ,tp;3 p.m.,; ,At 1 p.m. the tide rose suddenly fifteen inches and i receded -same; minutes, and continued receding irregularly until 3 p.m.", Nothing of the wave was seen at the Thames.
