The Child Murder Case.

Per Press Association. Hawera, Sept. 6. The oharge of child murderagainst Josephine Green is proceeding today. Detective Benjamin, Con* stables Manning, of Bulls, McAnulty; of Fo xton, and Mr Motley, of Woodville, have given evidence. They deposed that they made exhaustive inquiries, but had been unable to discover anything of George Wiliams, the reputed 'father of the missing child. Motley who is m th!a post* office at Woodville, said no letter had beea received there for Williams for 12 months past, except one a month ago, and that had not been called for. The ease is not nearly finished yet.
