Parcels and Goods for all Boa'lside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings must be pre-paid, and will be put out on the Platforms of those stations at the risk of the consignee. Parcels and Goods from all Roadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings can ba made to pay at Wanganui, Aramoho, Waitotara, Waverlay, Manutahi, Patea, Fordell, Turakina, Marton, Greatford, Halcombe, Feilding, Palmerston, and Foxtcn ; and at New Plymouth, Sentry HilLWaitara, Inglewood, Stratford, Normanby,^ and Hawe *a. Tbe Bailway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any cir* - cumstanceß arising either during or prior to the journey being made, which may. render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but dues not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger getting into a train at a Booking station without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the. or* dinary fare. LUGGAGE.— Each passenger is allowed to trtke 1 1 21 bof PEBSONAL luggage ( NOT INCLUDING MEBCHANDISE of any kind) and for every 561 b above this weight, f«r every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, Itho charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be aVowed to be taken into the C irriage*, unless of 6uch a size that it can . be placed under the seat without inconven- | ience to other Passengers. Passengers are 1 strong' y recommended to have their Nam s and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to satisfy themselves that it is placed upon the Train, as the Bailway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid,for. Passtngers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and under twelve years of age, half-fare. HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by aoy par* ticular Train ; but when sent they aust be at the Forwarding Station half«Bn-hour before the departure of the Train. Th^e owners of Horses mu-»t provide means of securing them m the Hor^e-box, and the ailway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage- tru'jka must be made the day before they are wanted. > DOGS must be provided with chains, J or other sufficient means of securing them. , They will not be allowed m carriages and F the sender must ottain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, 1 . before the Dog is delivered. V BRTURN or PEBIODICAL TICKRTB will not be available for Special and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is tuspended. PLATFOBMB ONLY— Trains do not stop at tbese unless requited.
