Parcels and Goods for all Boaiside Stations, Platforms, and Private. Sidings must "be pre-paid. and will be put out on the Platforms of those stations at the risk of the consignee. Parcels and Goods from all Roadside : Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings can be made to pay at Wanganui, Aramoho, Waitotara, Waverley, Manutahi, Patea; Fordell, Turakina, Marton; Greatford, Halcombe, Feiiding, Palmerston, and Foxten; and at New Plymouth, Sentry Hill, Waitara, Inglewood, *Btratfordi-* "NormanbyjJ* and Hawe.'a. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any cir* cumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made,: which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the Passengers. ' : .. ' Any Passenger, getting into a train at a Booking Station without a. ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the or* dinary fare. LUGGA,GE.— Each passenger is allowed to take 1121 b of PERSONAL luggage (NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any kind) md for evety 561 b above this weight, for every 50 miles 01 fraction of 50 miles,.' the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to ba taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to satisfy themselves that it is placed upon the Train, as the Railway-Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can ba booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and undei twelve years of age, half -fare. HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c.-The Bailway Department does not undertake to forward' Horses and Carriages by any par* ticular Train ; but when sent they EUBt be at 'the Forwarding Station halfran-hour before the departure of the Train. Th,e owner* of Horses mmt provide means ■of securing them m the Hor*e-box, and the ! ailway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise; nor will it undertake; to carry unbroken or vicious Horsee. .At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or ■Carriage- trucks 'must j be' made the 1 day before they are wanted; ■ D 0 GS must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing ;them. , I They will not be allowed. in carriages i apd I I the sender, must obtain a ticket, to be : given up before the; end of the journey, j before the Dog is delivered.
