Lost m the Bush.

An Armidale (N.S.W.) telegram of Nov 12 says : — Eight days ago two littls boys aged respectively six and foil? years, accompanied their lather, John G-lasser — a selector at 'JockraV-, 20 miles from Armidale — into the bm-h, where he was at work. Shortly afterwards, as rain was threatening, their father took them within sight of his house, and told them to run home. At the dinner hour, when he returned, he found t hat neither of the children had reached home. Search for them was at once made, and was continued at intervals for lour days without success. On Friday morning last tbe elder hoy was found m a very low state, after he had been five days and nights without food, and exposed to the weather. The child has since recovered. All hopes of finding the younger boy alive were then given up, as the country where the child was lost iB very rough, and j> bounds with native dogs and wild pigs. Yes' erday morning, however, a shepherd boy out m the bush discovered the younger child lying down almost dead, and m a very ex« liau.sted condition, he having beeu lost then for seven days. During the time the child has been out m the bush several violent thunder* storms have occurred. Under careful .nursing he is now recovering, and strong hopes are entertained of his ultimately recovery. Some black'fellows picked up the tracks of the missing children on the second day that they were out, but a a thunderstorm obliterated all traces of their little footsteps. There is great joy expressed at their wonderful escape.
