The Dunedin Suicide.

Per Press Association. ; Dunedin,. Last Night. Young wrote this letter, addressed to the reporter :— " Done the deed myself, all through love. Blame my friends for deed — all their fault. Promised me their daughter's hand, and withdrew consent. Cannot live without, her. Let all who value true love shun them. Have been my curse all through life." At the inquest on the body of ! James Young, who shot himself, a verdict of suicide while insane was returned. The deed was evidently premeditated. The deceased . left a letter explaining about the owner ot articles of jewellery left inhis shop for repair, and also a letter addressed to the Otago Daily Times. The 'jury added that no blame "was attachable to Mr Cunningham, who was deceased's uncle, and father of the girl alluded to.
