Race Against Time.

At the Chicago Driving Park Association's race-meeting on Oct. 9 those present had the satisfaction of seeing' the fastest time ever made hy a pacer, which was done by Johnson, driven by Peter V. Johnson, after w!bqm the horse was named; 1 - The trial was [against Johnson's oyrh record pf 2 mm. 11£ see., made at Chicago m July* and the same time jp§de by Little Brown Jug, at Hertford, two years ago.' •"• ■ Between the heats of the stallion race the pacer Johnson was brought on the track and given a Warmingup mile m 2 mm. 22f sec.
