Mr J. E. Nathan, of Wellington, Chairman of the Kailway Company, informs us that tenders are about be* ing invited for an additional 22 miles of railway at the end. This, with tbe 11 miles already let, will make a clear run when completed of 33 miles from Longburn junction. Further particulars will be made known m due course. We congratulate the Chairman and directors on the rapidity with which the line iff being put m baud, and have no doubt that m less than threa years the through line will be open.
