The public consideredSwordsman could win easily. Time Smin. Railway Stakes. — Consol, 1 ; Glaiks, 2; Gabble, 3. Mr Tancred declared to win with Gabble. The start was a bad one. Time, lmin 32f sec. Opaki Stakes.— First Water, 1; Odd Tiick, 2; Ninette, 8. Time, Smin 54£ see. ': Mr Tancred declared to win with First Water.
