Act, 1882, that the Manawatu Eoad Board propose to construct the road known as the Tiritea Line, Fitzherbert and that the estimated cost of the part for which a special rate over certain properties m the Fitzherbert Riding is now required, i 8 LBOO. The yearly payment required to be made thereon, is L 72 and the amount of special rate required to meet auch payment is 1| of a penny m the £ annually on the rateable value of the following sections m the Fitzherbert Hidings, viz .—212, 213, 214, 215, 266, 267, 268,, 269, 258, 288, 257, 255, 287, 256, 285, 180, 181, 182, 183, 184, 270, 271, 272, 273, 263, 261, 259. The plans, specifications and detailed estimates of the list of tbe proposed works may be seen at the Road Board office, Pal* merston ISTorth, during office hours. All parcels of wool committed to the r 7ompany's care for local sale, are, on receipt, c*refully EXAMINED AND VALUED BY COMPETENT PERSONS, and a report thereon transmitted to owners. PARMjSES' LOTS, no matter how small, also receive the same efficient attention, No lots are sold at below the reserves fixed by consignors, and m those cases where specific instructions are not furnished, the Company's valuation is adopted as a reserve. The Company further acts AS SELLING BROKERS ONLY, an additional guarantee that clients' interests will be protected. Should satisfactory prices not be realized the Company offers the alternative course of shipment j no warehouse charges whatever being made on wools thus withdrawn from sale. Account sales, with net proceeds, are remitted promptly within seven days of date of auction.
