Horrible death of a Lunatic.

(Per Press Association.) . :■■; Wellington; Jan. 15. At the Lnnatic Asylum an inquest was held on the body of a patient, William Dryden, who met with his death under somewhat, peculiar circumstances. He was taken to the bathroom for the purpose of having/ a bath. The warder turned the hot water on, aid while his back was turned Dryden jumped into it. Before being taken out he was so badly scalded as to result m his death. The jury returned a verdict of " Accidental Death," aßd added a rider thatthe jury are of opinion that bead attendant shall be responsible m future for strictly carrying out bathing, rules, :
