Messrs Levin and Co., agents of the steamer Napier received a telegram this morning, stating that the Napier was ashore inside the mouth. of the Eaugitikei river, and was making a great deal cf water. As» sistanca was immediately waited.. Later. The steamer Napier is insured forL2250, distributed amongst several offices, the names of which are not yet known. Captain Bendall of Underwriters Association leaves for Bangitikei to-night.
