The secretary preseuted to the President the Revs Brook, Griffiin, and Dukes, and * they were ordained by imposition of hands. A large congregation was present. The charge was preached by Rev A. Reid, who se* lected '• Holiness " as the theme, and the peculiae fitness of the Methodist Church organisation to spread scriptural holiness through the land. This morning the united session began, when 25 laymen attended. Committees were appointed on home missions, new book of discipline, and connexional privileges. A request to sell landed property Wanganui was refused.
