Inquiries which have been made into the circumstances under wbich the.nnrder of Beach and his. wife were committed near Geelong yen* terday have led to the belief that crime was committed from motives of revenge and not plunder. Detectives have been employed to trace the criminals, but no arrests have yet been made.
