The Bon Marche.

NEW PREMISES. C. M. Rosa & Go., of the Bon Marcho announce m our advertising columns that they will open m their new premises (next the Union Bank; on Saturday next, (to-morrow) with an entirely new stock of Drapery goods, suitable for. the coming season. The new premises have been laid out with special facilities and accommodation to meet the requirements of an increasing business. In the front on the ground floor are the hoisery, Manchester, and dress departments on the one side, and men's clothing and mercery depart* ments on the other,. Here we notice what we consider a great improvement m the shape of a closed-off partition to serve as a fitting room, where purchasers of clothingwishing to dp so, may fit on their garments and are at the same -time conveniently concealed from view. At the back is a commodious show room, which comf rises the mantle, costume, and millinery departments. From this room the staircase leads to the dressmaking and tailoring departments. The dressmaking workroom is the largest of the kind m Palmerston, and is 20 feet square, well lighted up with three -large ' windows. On the opposite sade of the lobby is the ladies' fitting room, and adjoining it is the tailoring room. This branch of the basinets is new to the drapery trade m Palmerstun but is successfully carried on by drapery firms ; m the larger centres and we have i o doubt similar success will attend it at the Bon Marche. : ■
