Parcels and Goods for all Roa iside Stations, Platforms, and Private hidings must be pre-paid. and will be put ou^onthe Platforms of those stations at the risk of the consignee. Parcels and ; Goods from all Roadside >"t:» tions, Platforms, and Private Sidings can be made to pay at Wanganui, Aramoho, Waitotara, Waverley, Manuiahi, Patea, Fordell, Turakina, Marton, Greitford, Halcombe, Feilding, Palmerston, and Fort n ; and at New Plymouth, Sentry Hill, Waitara. Inglewood, Stratford, Normanby,^ and Ha we -a. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but doe-; not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger getting into a train at a Booking station without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the ordinary fare. LUGGAGE. — Each passenger is allowed tot ke 1121 bof PERSONAL luggage , NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any j kind) and for every 561 b above thid weight, f\r every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, I the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be al owed to be taken into the C rriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat withouUnconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Nain^-s and the Station to which they are pro ceeding distinctly marked on their Luggag and to satisfy themselves that it is placci upon the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible v iless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and under twelve years of age, half-fare. ■ HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— The Railway Department does rot undertake to forward Horses and Carriaves by a y par« ticular Train ; but when sent they rsust be at the Forwarding Station half- an-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means of securing thnm m the Hor e-box, and the ail way Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise. nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage- tru ks must be made the day lef"re they are wanted. DOGS must be provided with chains, I or other sufficient meanß of securing them. ' They will not be allowed m carriages and the sender must oUain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. RETURN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available <<>r Special and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. PLATFORMS ONLY— Trains do .not stop at these unless required.
