The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or pridr to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, willretu'n the fares paid,' but dues not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger getting into a train at a Booking station without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the ordimiry fare. HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c.— The Railway Department does . not undertake to forward Howes and Carriages by & y particular Train ; but when sent they must be at the Forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. Th c owners of Horses must provide means of securing them m the Horee-box, and the ailway Department will not be account- | able for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise,nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. : At Country Stations ' requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage- tru.ka must be made the day * efrre they are wanted. » DOGS must be provided with chains, [ or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed m carriages and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. ; . KBTURN orPERIODIQAL TICKETS will not be available for Special, and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. PLATFORMS ONLY— Trains do. not stop at these unless, requited. Notice should be given to the Guard at the pre» vious stopping Station.
