AUCKLAND.
June 24. The Glance Le Beuff, from Lons don, arriAed to-day. During a gale she used canvass bags of oil with excellent results. The barque Ruakaka bas returned from Mongonui, through the crew being unwilling to venture the voys age to Sydney. The two men picked up oi_ the Barrier Islands were not two of her crew as supposed, but de* serters from the whaler James Amtergan, lying at Mongonui. It is conjectured the skeleton found near the Three Kings may be that of Jemmy, a half caste, who gave evidence against Winiata for stealing a saddle 10 years ago, and disappeared ever since.
