Parcels and Goods from all Roadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings can be 1 made tcpay at Wanganui, Aramoho, Waitotara, Waverley, Manutahi, Patea, Fordell,. Turakina, Marton,, Greatford, Halcombe, Feilding, Palmerston, and Foxfccn ; and at New Plymonth, Sentry Hill, Waitara, Inglewood, Stratford, Normanby,*" and Hawe-a. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the i above Tables, and' in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to I the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train i to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does nofc undertake to forward the Passengers. . Any Passenger getting into a train at a , BookiDg Station without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the or* dinar y fare. • LUGGAGE.-— Each passenger is allowed to take 1 1 21 bof PERSONAL luggage ( NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any kind) and for every 561 b above thid weight, fur every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it van be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the S,tation to which they" are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggagt and to satiefy themselves that it is placed upon the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless It iB booked and paid for. " " ' Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition' that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and undex twelve years of age, half-fare. HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Eorees and Carriages by any para ticular Train ; but when sent they must be at the Forwarding Station half»an-hour before the departure of the Train. Th owners of Horses must provide means of securing them m the Horre-box, and the ailway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through heir breaking loose or otherwise ; nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. A\ Country Stations requisitions for'Horseibbieß or Carriage- truck's must be made the day V-ef ore they are wanted. DOGS must be provided with chains, or other sufficient meanaof securing them. They will nofc be allowed m carriages and ' the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered, ■ RETURN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available tor Special and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended.
