Parcels and Goods for all Eoadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidinss must be pre-pnid. and will be put out on the Platforn.s of those stations at the risk of the consignee. ' . Parcels and Goods from all Roadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings can be made to pay at Wanganui. Aramoho, Waitotara, Waverley, Manutahi, Palea, Fordell, Turakina. Marton, Greatford, Halcombe, Feilding, Falmerston, and Foxton ; and at New Plymouth, Sentry Hill, Waitara, Inglewood, Stratford, Normanby,^ and Hawe-a. The Eailway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does toot undertake to forward the Pasßengers. Any Passenger getting into a train at a Booking station without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the ordinary fare. LUGGAGE. — Each passenger is allowed to t«ke 1121 bof PEESONAL luggage ( NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any kind) and for every 561 b above thid weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will, be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to satisfy themselves that it is placed upon the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible uuless ft is booked aud paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the | Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and tinder twelve years of age, half-fare. ; HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any par* ticular Train 5 but when sent they cust be at the Forwarding Station half-an-hour , before the departure of the Train. Th own era of Horses must provide means of securing them m the Horte-box, and the ailway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through heir breaking loose or otherwise; nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. DOGS must be provided with chains, or other sufficient .means of securing them. They will not be allowed m carriages and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. RETURN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available lor Special and Excursion Trainß, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. PLATFORMS ONLY— Train do not Etop at these -unless required .Notice should be given to the Guard a pre» viou s stopping Station.
