Parcels and Goods for all Boadside Stations, llatforms. and Privat-ASidiries must be pre-p.nidi and will be put ou f on tbe Platforms of those stations, at the risk of the consignee; Parcels and Goods from all Roadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Hidings can be made to pay at Wanganui, Aramoho, Waitotara, Waverley, Manuiahi, Palea, Fordell, Turakina. Marton, Greatford, Halcombe, Feilding, Palmerston, and Foxton ; and af. New Plymouth, Sentry Hill. Waitara, Inglewood, Siratf. rd, Normanby,^; and Hawe.a. The Bailway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of ' the Trains at tbe exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the joiirney being made, 'which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger getting into a train at a Booking s-tation without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the or* dinary faie. LUGGAGE.— Each passenger is v allowed to take 1121 bof PEBhONAL luggage (NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE Of any kind) and for every 561 b above this weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One shilling. No* luggage will be al:o«ved to bu taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that.it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are - proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to satisfy themselves that it is placed upon the Tiain, as the Bailway Pepartment will not be responsible unless it is hooked and paid for. I'assbngtfrs can be bopked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and under twelve years of age. half-fare. HOESES, CAEHIAGES, &c— The Railway Depai tment does not undertake to forward florses and Carriages by any par* ticular Train ; but wheu sent they cust be at the ForwardiDg Station hal£an-hour before the departure of the Train. Th owners of Horses must provide means of securing them m the Horse- box, and the ailway Department will not le accountable for any injuries sustained through heir breaking loose or otherwise ; nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Hortes. At Country Stations requisitions for Horee-boxes or Carriage-truL-kB mu6t be made the day before they are wanted. DOGS must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be. allowed m carriages aud the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up befdte the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. .-'•■.■• RETURN or PEEIODIGAL TICKETS will not be available ior Special and Excursion Tiains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended.
