Parcels and Goods for all Roadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings must be prer-paid. and will be put out an the Platforms of those, stations at the risk of the consigqeel Parcels and ■ Goods from all Roadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings can be made to pay at Wonganui. Aramoho, Waitotara, "Waverley, Manutahi, Patea, Fopdell, Turakina, Marton, Greatford, Halcombe, Feilding, Palmerston, and Foxtcn ; and at New Plymouth, Sentry Hill, Waitara, Inglewood, Stratford, Normanby,"i and Hawe.a. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or, arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made, which- may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger getting into a train at a Bookibg^tation without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the ordinary fare. LUGGAGE. — Each passenger is allowed to take 1121 b of PERSONAL luggage (NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any kind) and for every 561 b above this weight, fox every 50 miles or fraction' of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to satisfy themselves that it is placed upon the Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it iB booked and paid for. - Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and undei twelve years of age, half-fare. . .HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— The Railway Department does not undertake to forward iiorees and Carriages by aiy par* ticular Train ; but when sent, they :rust be at the Forwarding Station h'altan-hour before the departure of the Train. Th owners of Horses must provide means of securing them m the Howe- box, and the uailway Department will not be accountI ble for any injuries sustained through heir breaking loose or otberwise,nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious I Hories. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. DOGS must he provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed m carriages and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the : end of the' journey, before the Dog is delivered. : • ' RETURN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available tor Special and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. PLATFORMS ONLY— Train do not stop at these unlets requited .Notice should be given to the Guard a pre» vious stopping Station.
