Pai'cels and Goods for all Roadside Stations, liatforms. and Private Sidings must be pre-paid, and will be put ou^on the Hlatforma of those stations at the risk of the consignee. Parcels and ■ Goods from all Hoadside Stations, Platforms, and Private Sidings can be made to pay at Wanganui, Aramoho, Waitotara. Waverley, Manutahi, Patea, Fordell, lurakina. Marton, Greatford, Halcombe, Feilding, Palmerston, and Foxtcn ; and, at New Ply mo 11/ h, Sentry Hill. Waitara, Inglewood, Slratf.-rd, Normanby," 4 and Hawe. a. "" The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tables, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but 'does not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger gstting into a train at a Booking Mation without a ticket, will be charged one sbilling m addition to the ordinary fare. LUGGAGE. — Each passenger is allowed to take 1121 bof PEESONAL luggage fNOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any kind) and for every 561 b above this weight, fui every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be .taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size tnat'it can he placed under the seat withpuV inconvenience to other ' Passengers,' Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to satisfy themselves that it is placed upon the Tiain, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and pa>.d for. I'ass.ngers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and undei twelve years of age; half-fare. HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— Tbe Railway Department does cot undertake' to forward Horses and Carnages by any particular Train ; but when sent they rcust be 1 at the Forwarding Station haltan-hour before the departure of the Train. Th owners of Horses must provide means of I securing them m the Hone- box, and the I railway Department will not ).e accountble for any injuries sustained through heir breaking loose or otheiwiEe ; npr will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Hortes. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Cariiage-tru'ks mubt be made the day before they aie wanted. DOGS ' must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They wili not be allowed m carriages aud the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up before the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. RETURN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available tor Special and Excursion Tiains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended.
