At their meeting last Saiur. day the half-yearly report ending 30th June, was lead. Total Lodge funds are £1640 10a lid, of this amount £1527 12s 6dis invested on rreehold security, bearing from eight to ten percent, leaving a balance m Bank of Australasia of £112 18s sd. During the past six montbs£so 16s has been paid to memberH as Mck pay, and £70 10a for medical attendance. A letter was also read stating that the half nyearly meeting of the Hawko's Bay District I. 0.0. F. would be held m the Oddfellows' Hall Waipawa, on Friday next. Bros. Tho« mas Cowper, James Henderson, and Charles Ayres, were appointed delegates to represent: the ' Loyal Abbotsford Lodge." We may mention that the Bro Thomas Cowper referred to is father of Bro Cowper P.V.N;G. of the Loyal Mauawatu.
