No. 1 Ward , ... „. 1 Stkoke No. 2 Ward 2 Strokes No. 3 "Ward 3 Strokes No. 4 Ward 4 Strokes The Signals m case of Fire are given m the following manner :— Toll the Hell rapidly. Stop a short while. Make 1, 2, 3, or 4 single strokes, indicating the Number of the Ward m which the Fire is. Stop a while, toll again, and so on, In case of a Fire occurring, the person first discovering the same is requested to Eing the Bell as above indicated.
