The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at the exact time notified m the above Tableß, and m the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made, which may render it impossible or inexpedient for the Train to proceed, will return the fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the Passengers. Any Passenger getting into a. train at a Booking station without a ticket, will be charged one shilling m addition to the or* dinary fare. LUGGAGE.— Each passenger is allowed to take 1121 bof PERSONAL luggage (NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE of any kind) and for every 561 b above thid weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to b« taken into the Carriages, unless of 6uch a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenitnee to other Passengers. Passengers are strong :y recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage and to sstufy themselves that it is placed upou the Tiain, as the Railway Department will not be responsible uulesß it is booked and paid for. fass< ngers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room m the Train. Children under three years of age travel free ; over three and undei twelve years of age, half-fare. HORSES, CAKUIAGES, $c.— The Railway Department does iiot undertake to forward .Horses and Carriages by ai.y para ticular Train ; but when sent they Eust be at the Forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of tke Train. Th owuerfc of Horses must provide means of securing them m the Ho^e-box, and the rt ailway Department will not beaccountble for any injuries sustained through heir breaking loose or otherwiee ; nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Hortes. At Country Stations requisitions for llurse-buxes or Carriage-tru ks must be made the day I efore they aie wanted. IX Gb must be provided with chains, or other sutlieient means of securing them. They will not be allowed m carriages and the sender must obtain a ticket, to be given up befoie the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. KfcTUKN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available lor Special and Excursion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended.
