In the Legislative Assembly to« night the premier announced that • telegram had been received from the Agent-General m reply Jo on« dispatched to him urging that tno Imperial Bill to enable federation of the colonies should be postponed. The Agent-General's reply stated that the Enabling. Bill would not &• introduced this session m the Hbust of Commons. The news was received m the Asssmbly with applause.
