Since our leader was m type a telegram has been received stating that Mr Stout has been entrusted with the task of forming a Ministry. This ib good news indeed,, and it is tp be hoped Mr Stout will be able to collect a good Ministry together without having i.to fall back -•' on the Atkinson party. The Major must now ba thoroughly convinced that he lias no chance, and the prevailing feeling is that the Stout .Vogel Ministry should have been allowed an oppor« xunity of developing its policy. Major Atkinson will be able to do good service in the ranks of tbe Opposition, and the longer he remains on those benches the better for the Colony. We may fairly expect that Mr Stout will have his Ministry formed before to-morrow evening, and we may also anticipate that the policy he will place before the House will difter very little from that dißclosed in the Governor's speech as that of the Btout«Vo£el Ministry. ;
