Messrs Beckett, Hammond, & Dick report ;— Our stock sale at the Clu^> Yards, Marton on Friday, was slack for tbe cattle, although tbe cattle 3 arded were chiefly steers of a useful class, about 200 head of cattle and 550 sheep made up the sale. We placed all but two pens of the former and one of the latter. We quote : — "Weaners, 14s 6d ; yearlings, mixed sexes, 25s to 275 ; yearling steers, 33s 9d ; heifers, 32s 5d ; cows, 33s to 458 ; three-year-old steers, £3 4s 6d to £4 5s ; ewes wi 1 h lambs, iv« ferior, lie; two and four tooth wethers lls 2d; hoggets, 10s,
