The booiety's Handicap is for members of the local lodges of Foresters, Oddfellows, Hechabiteß, and Dtuids who have been bona fide members of such lodges previous to Oct Ist, 1884 and are financial at the date cf running, All competitors to lun m regalia. Handicaps to be pub ished m the Times on Saturday 13th and final acceptances on Saturday the 27th. All events close 15 minutes before lime of starting. The Friendly Sooieties Cup must be won by the same person twice m succession or three times at intervals before becoming his absolute property, In each event of the Friendly fcoci tieß Handicap the points for the Cup shall be calculated as follows : — Ist 6 points ; 2nd 3 points ; 3rd 1 point The competitor obtaining the greatest number of points shall be declared the winner of the Cup.
