A large sum of money was pencilled about LadyEmtaa yesterday at an average of 100 to 3, and 10 to lis now the best price cbtainable about her Captain Webster was invested on for a moderate amount at 100 to 7, at which quotation Vanguard' and Nonsense found friends. For the Auckland Cup there has been a disposition to support Black Rose, while one backer to'fk all the money m the market ahout Administrator at 100 to 8. The double Auckland and Dunedin Cups claims a deal of attention, the price on offer (100 to 3) tempting investors. The handicap for the Dunedin Cup, which will be declared on Saturday is being awaited with interest by sporting folk.
