The maiket is nearly bare of all kinds of fruit, owing partly to the action of tha JTew Zealend Government prohibiting importations of f uit. It is a well-known fact that tht moth has been m New Zealand apples for i ears, and whyAustialian grapes art prohibited from being landed here is net generally understood by the public.
