Nominationsfor Handicaps Noj).l, 3, 7, 11 and 12, will cl se on December Bth. Handicaps to be pub ished m the Times on Saturday 13th and final acceptances en Saturday the 27th. All events close 15 minutes before time of starting. The Friendly Societies Cup must be won by the same person twice m succession or three times at intervals before becoming his absolute property. In each event of the Friendly boci. ties Handicap the points for the Cup shall be calculated as follows : — Ist 6 points ; 2nd 3 points ; 3rd 1 point The competitor obtaiuing the greatest number of" points shall be declared the winner of the Cup. A promenade Ball and Concert will be held: m the Forester*' Hall m the evening, dancing to commence at 8 p.m. The special prizes will be presented during the evening, Admission to Sports Is ; Children under 14 half-price jin arms free.
