Dec 29. Black Rose's acceptance for the Dunedin Cup was only received this morning, ; The acceptance of Black : Rose for Dunedin Cnp will not be received by the Jockey Club, as m the event of his winning they believe the owner of the second horse could claim the stakes also. Gerald Fitzgerald was brought up to-day charged with being a participator m the Nenthorn affray, and remanded. Mr Stout, Preroier.took trig departure for Wellington on Suuday evening, having received a telegram that hie presence was required there.
