SPECIAL RATE. i NOTICE is,hereby given that a Special Meeting, on June 17th, 1905, the Palmerston N. - Borough Council made the following '■ s Special Order: j* That a Special Rate of l-40th (one i j fortieth of a penny in the £) on the rateable value of the rateable property in the Borough of Palmerston North, be now made by Special Order to provide the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £1200 (less accumulation of Sinking Fund, £188 4s 8d) authorised to be raised under Section 82 of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 19.01," for the repayment of a loan now becoming due, previously raised for the proportionate co3b of repairs to the Awahuri Bridge; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate to become due and payable in two instalments on June Ist and December Ist respectively in each and every yeac during the currency of the loan, or until the loan is paid off.
