Cossacks As Butchers.

' Four officers and twenty noncommissioned officers were sentenced at Warsaw to bo shot for refusing to go to Manchuria on the ground that tho wealthier class evaded service by bribing, the officials. . ' A Lithuanian regiment refused to execute the sentence, but the Cossacks aid. The Lithuanians later on attacked and killed 200 of the Cossacks. The Kniaz mutineers have been hospitably entertained in Roumania, and many have gone harvesting in the interior. Others are living in the barracks.
