At the annual Terrace End school sports held yesterday a young girl, Nancy Nicholls, of Lombard street, was injured during the running of a mixed relay event. A boy, competing in the race, collided with her and knocked the young girl down heavily, dazing her and causing general shock. She received medical attention and was removed to her home, it being stated that sho was not seriously hurt.
