SPELLS RUINATION TO N.Z. GROWERS. Per Press Association. CARTERTON, Dec. 9. A deputation of Greytown. fruitgrowers waited upon the Mayor of Greytown this morning asking that he communicate with the Minister of Customs relative to the importation of Australian fruit which practice is described as highly detrimental to New Zealand - fruitgrowers. Mr W. W. Kidd, acting as spokesman, said if Australian, fruit was permitted entry as at present it would put New Zealand growers completely out of the market. The Mayor, Mr H. T.
