Croupier Will be Sold at Auction Per Press Association. , AUCKLAND, Last Night. In order to adjust accounts between <T. J. Corry and John and James Paterson in connection with the racehorse Croupier, the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland will offer the horse for sale by auction either during the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting at Christmas or at the Wellington Racing Club’s meeting in January. Croupier has been the subject of a good deal of litigation. An action was brought by Mr. Corry in the Supreme Court at Auckland for possession of the horse, but Mr. Justice Herdman held that Croupier was the property of Messrs. Paterson. Mr. Corry then appealed to the Appeal Court and as a result of documents produced, which were not put in in the Supreme Court ,the Appeal Court held that there was a partnership from August 1, 1931. Mr. Corry later applied for costs in the Auckland Supreme Court but each side was ordered to pay its own costs, and the Registrar was apointed receiver of the horse.

McManemin, has decided not to rehandicap the Woodville winners, Gold Trail, Shrewd and Tigerism, for the Auckland Cup, nor Royal Routine, who is engaged in the Railway Handicap.
