The first consignment of 10,000 A7ictorian and New South AVales turkeys is meeting a ready market at 10)d per lb., and more are arriving, replacing the Irish, on which there is a heavy duty. The quality of the Australian turkeys is equal to that of the Irish and foreign birds. There are prospects of a good market for frozen poultry in the winter.
